Mahjongg in Yokohama

Greetings, all. I have just discovered this community, so I apologize for asking a question which may have been asked before... I'm from NY originally, and have recently moved to Yokohama. I've been playing Reach (Riichi/リーチ) style Japanese mahjongg with my friends in NY, and am hoping to play it here too.

With such a small community, I imagine the chances that anyone here is intimately familiar with the Yokohama (or even Tokyo) mahjongg scene are kind of slim, but I shall nevertheless ask my questions, b/c you never know. ^_^

(1) Where can I go to get a good solid mahjongg set relatively cheaply? I've been thinking of checking out flea markets, as they might hopefully have other cool stuff anyway; I live quite close to Yokohama Chinatown, but then again, seeing as how it's a popular Japanese game, I don't know whether or not Chinatown would actually be any more likely than anywhere else to get such a thing. Thoughts, suggestions?

(2) Playing in the privacy of one's home is cool, but little different whether in NY or in Yokohama. Visiting a proper mahjongg parlor is an entirely different thing. Does anyone have any ideas how to find mahjongg parlors that would be welcoming, not sketchy, and not run by or filled with yakuza or other disreputable (and unwelcoming) sorts?

Thanks much.
